Brandy is traditionally used to preserve the water in which the energetic pattern of the flower is stored and gives the flower essence an indefinite shelf life. The brandy can be eliminated by evaporation or by adding water. A flower essence can be used directly out of the bottle as purchased or diluted. Dilution with water makes flower essences very economical.
A standard dilution is to put seven drops from a Stock bottle (the bottle you purchased) into a clean 1ounce bottle of pure water. Label it, shake it up and this is now called the Dose bottle. Drops can be used several times a minute, several times an hour or several times a day. They can be taken directly into the mouth or rubbed on the affected part of the body, misted or added to your pure drinking water.
